Mary Poppins will be flying into Calgary from July 31 through August 5, displaying the elaborate London house of the Banks Family and other magical scenes. Among the amazing facts reavealed is just how big the Banks’ home is, weighing in at five tons! Bob Crowley, who won a Tony Award for his set design, explains how he recreated the Banks’ house for the national tour “without compromising its scale and grandeur” from the Broadway production.
